The Perfect Out Of Office
We decided to chase the sun and book a weekend in Bal Harbour so I'm trying to do as little as possible on the web so I can take in the magic that is Bodie on the beach. The kid can be the first one in the water at 830am and is the very last to leave the last shred of warm sunlight on the beach at 530pm.
While we're unwinding as a family, I thought I'd tee up next week's Another Mother Her Way by fittingly sharing her e-mail auto response, which is one of the best I've seen and a smart approach to protecting boundaries and her precious time with her son as she and her husband wander the world. Here's her Instagram in case you're curious.
On writing Anelise, you'll get a sweet response subject line, Got it!, which just immediately puts you at ease that she has your attention. Once you open it up, you'll see a simple text email with her pretty logo on the top. The text, Anelise carefully crafts to make sure everyone knows they're cared for. The template she uses works! It makes you somehow more excited to get to know her if you don't already. Below is the text to inspire your own approach to auto responses as I work on a cute out of office for the weekend.

If you are getting this message it's because I'm getting lost in
graphic design land, but I'll send a personal response to your email as soon as I can (promise!).
