MU Picked · Undergarments

Post-baby, our bodies go through so many changes and you can't expect everything to go back to "normal". Among other things, it's important to take the time to figure out your new sizes - especially with undergarments. It’s equally as important to treat yourself to pieces that aren’t milk stained and oversized during the transition and to further embrace the beauty of being a female. Here are a few of MU style contributor’s Liz Yingst upgrades to get help get you back to feeling like you.

You can shop all of Liz’s selections in the MU·Picked shop where we gather our favorites for balanced living in motherhood.

  1. Started by a former Victoria's Secret senior merchant, Lively is a new online-based company that combines the style of traditional lingerie with the comfort of athleisure - all for a great price. The mesh trim bralette and no-show thong are one of my favorite combos!

  2. Post-baby, it’s time to treat yourself to new sleepwear! How adorable is this top / shorts combination from Love Story? The longer stretches of sleep deserve a great PJ set.

  3. A super feminine look with a wide range of color options, Eberjey's delirious french briefs are a perfect and flattering match for every body type.

  4. Valentine NYC's goal was to create products using the highest quality materials, comfortable enough to wear all day and an affordable price point. Not only do I love the look of the Magnolia Lace bra and thong above, I am obsessed with Terracotta Rose colorway it comes in.

  5. A great alternative to the hanky panky (which my underwear drawer is full of!), the Cosabella Roxie "V" thong is sexy and functional. Available in black, white and nude, it’s a great starting point to rebuild your underwear basics.

  6. Available in seven colors, this workout set (sports bra and leggigns) from All Access will have you looking good when you are ready to exercise again. It is high-compression fabric and the pants have a high-waisted double layer waistband.

  7. It's hard for Chantelle to do wrong, and its Le Marais Bra is a prime example. It's a beautiful product designed for daily use. Its functionality also includes a u-shaped back that helps take the weight off your shoulders.

  8. These are prefect for under your new All Access set! The Lululemon namastay-put thong checks all the boxes for underwear when working out - comfortable, stays in place and no visible lines.

  9. The combination of a full-coverage front and semi-sheer back makes this Calvin Klein set great for a slightly conservative look. This classic bra style is ideal under t-shirts.
